Bio
I am interested in all aspects of the creative process, especially as it relates to fine art, illustration, and the craft of creative writing. I have great hopes that e-books will bring illustrations to life for children’s books.
My fiction was published by Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine in 2008. One of my short stories will be published in Highlights…I am not sure when! But I’m so grateful they accepted the piece.
I have experience as a website designer, interface designer, and usability engineer. My last position was at the Kansas City Public Library as Digital and Web Manager (thanks to all the fantastic people who work there).
In 2010, I will strike out on my own to write all of the novels and picture books that crowd my brain, and draw some lovely pictures to go with them. I’ll also pursue my other interests: spinning yarn on my spinning wheels, dyeing with natural plants, visiting shepherds as many times as they can stand it, and helping local farmers to connect with new customers.
In case you haven’t guessed, her husband is the most supportive guy in the world.
